Xiaomi MiJia Smart Home Gateway (3rd Generation Edition) is the central part of the MiJia Smart Home Ecosystem, without it the devices you try to connection such as Door/Window, Temp/humidity and WiFi smart switch will be essentially without use. The Xiaomi MiJia Smart Home Gateway (3rd Generation Edition) allows all of your Eco system products to communicate centrally and pair them to the gateway for management and updates and other audio based notification sounds / alerts.
The Xiaomi MiJia Smart Home Gateway (3rd Generation Edition) can also be used as a convenient entry / exit subtle light or for emergency lighting situations. Xiaomi MiJia Gateway also combines the use of the alarm functionality to turn it into the beating heart of your central home security system, different alert tones from Barking dogs, to Air Sirens can be setup or even doorbell sounds when using the Door/Window sensor.
The scenarios (scenes) setups are endless and only limited by your imagination.
Work with Homebridge that get interface with Apple Home Apps , so that you can control all your MiJia Plug-in , Aqara Wall Switch via Siri.
